The best way to play with the F-100D today is to support your team and try to catch planes distracted or at low speed. It's not that dangerous and you can missile it with relative ease, or at least force it to turn and get guns on him. It's a manageable plane for the 9.0-9.3 aircrafts. F-104 on the other hand is ridiculously overpowered. There's nothing you can do against it with a 8.7/9.3 aircraft.
