Web26 de abr. de 2024 · Not all holes are in the same location. Strips can be fine but it needs to be very clean and a curve and be a right pain. I just use the old plates as a template, mark the new ones and drill the hole. Web26 de sept. de 2012 · If I was silly enough to pay $400 for a set of number plates I'd bolt, chain, padlock, weld and tape them on to make it as hard as possible for some bugger to nick. Even so I'd reckon drilling a few holes and mounting them to whatever the car manufacturer left has still got to be a better option than sticky tape.

Clamp plate and drill through slowly into some soft wood to make the exit as clean as possible, this is where any moisture will get in later on. Is it illegal to do so and can I do it myself instead of taking it to a professional?
