Select gage blocks of a size equal to 25, 50, 75 and 100 percent of the IUT full range. Select the smallest gage block and position it between the gaging disk of the IUT. Rotate the micrometer thimble until contact is established with the gage block. Compare reading of the IUT with size of gage block.
